 13th – 23rd December 2011.

White Bear Theatre, Kennington

 A nativity in the home counties. It’s Christmas Eve at the Oliphant’s house, and a white-out blizzard thunders outside. Traditional family plans are suddenly skewered by the arrival of a couple in need of shelter.  This auspicious visit prompts a collision of established religious belief, modern day scepticism and family values within the Oliphant household; the balance of domestic power is already fragile, and the ensuing action questions whether even the most traditional of Christmases could possibly be a happy one. Wise men, birthing pools, mystical visions and Christmas number ones combine in a smorgasbord of seasonal blunders.
